abandon jalopy

went for a hike Saturday morning in part of Gunpowder Falls State Park. big hills, river, streams, creeks, a cave or two, ruins of several mills (gunpowder, lumber, flour) from the 17 and 18 hundreds, etc...

and then out there in the middle of nowhere, you spot an old abandoned car next to a collapsed shack. how it ever got there is anyone's guess. no roads or large paths within a few miles of the spot... though there is a bar with eyehooks that appears to have been soldered onto the front end more recently . in any event, expect more photos in the near future. anyone have any idea what kind of car this might be?

Looks like the old Packard that Son John bought from your father!!(Don't know who Frank bought it from, but it was OLD).

y'know... it just might be a Packard of some sort. interesting.

No idea about the car but you did a great job capturing the shadows on the car - adds to the feeling of age and abandonment.

1933 Pierce Silver Arrow?

Ford and Plymouth had grilles very like that one in the early to mid 30's, also.
